Behind the Lens
I've always been drawn to photography's ability to capture atmosphere, character and moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed.
My work encompasses fine art automotive photography, motorsport and documentary wedding photography. Although the subjects differ, my approach remains consistent: observing carefully, working with natural light and looking for compositions that tell a story.
Working predominantly in black and white, I'm particularly interested in the relationship between a subject and its surroundings, whether that's a classic Porsche against a dramatic Scottish landscape or the unscripted moments of a wedding day.
Before founding F Stop Moments, my work spanned engineering and architectural design - two disciplines that introduced me to see structure, balance and the way light defines space. Over time, photography became the constant: a way to slow down and interpret what’s happening in front of me.
When I’m not photographing weddings, I love the outdoors. Landscape and travel keep my eye fresh; they remind me that every shot is a brief moment in time, place and feeling.

F Stop Moments grew from a simple idea: to bring a more relaxed and documentary style to weddings. Each image should help to tell part of a story.
My aim is for couples to feel their photographs belong to them, not to a photographer’s formula.
